Color in your clothes and your life

Color plays a major role in our emotional lives. Each color evokes a different feeling and emotion and therefore reflects how we feel. It is therefore no coincidence that we feel like wearing a red sweater today and a blue skirt tomorrow.

Red

This is of course the most intense color in terms of emotions. This is because it is such an extreme color that distracts attention. For that reason, it is best to avoid red clothing during negotiations. If you still want to color red, it is better to choose this as an accent color. This gives you extra energy and self-confidence.
Scientific research shows that athletes who wear red outfits win more often.

Orange

Orange is the most friendly and optimistic color. If you don’t really feel good about yourself, an orange top can awaken extra energy in you. Orange, just like red, manages to attract attention. That is also why orange often appears in traffic and in advertising.

Yellow

This is a color that you better use sensibly. It is considered a cheerful color, but scientific research has shown that people lose their self-control more quickly in a room with yellow walls. Babies also cry more in such a room. It is true that yellow improves your concentration. Students who work with a yellow fluorescent marker will remember their learning better!

Brown

This color is warm, safe and really down to earth. In a brown outfit you appear powerful and reliable. Unfortunately, brown can also promote feelings of sadness and isolation.

Purple

Purple is associated with luxury, wealth and romance. But spiritual people also turn to purple more often. This color stimulates creativity and provides energy when you feel depressed.

Blue

Blue is of course the color of the sky and the ocean, which makes it one of the most popular colors. It was the ancient Greeks who sat philosophizing under a blue sky. The color therefore represents an open mind, inspiration and spirituality. Due to the soothing effect of this color, it is also ideal for the home. Be careful because blue can also appear cold and depressing. Of course, we should not forget that in the States people feel blue when they are down! Yet it has been proven that blue improves communication and it is also true that people are most productive in blue spaces!

Black

This is a very popular color. This is only because it makes us look slimmer. It also radiates power, elegance and eroticism. Anyone who wears black seems to have everything under control. Black may seem formal and chic, but in some cases the color is also linked to evil. This image is probably further due to the fact that many famous villains are dressed in black.

Green

This color represents harmony, peace and relaxation. Green is reminiscent of fresh grass and that has a calming and purifying effect. This color radiates self-respect and well-being. People who feel balanced have a greater tendency to reach for a green piece of clothing. It’s great to know that anyone who has an exciting TV performance can often relax in a green room

White

White naturally radiates innocence and purity. It is of course no coincidence that brides choose a white dress with us. But it is also a perfect background color if you want to organize your thoughts or make a fresh start. Too much white can create a feeling of loneliness. It is also true that the ancient Greeks wore white nightwear because they were said to have better dreams.
