In addition to the definition of the word “art”, it is still interesting to know that artists and art in Germany and many other Western countries enjoy art freedom; this is one in Germany through the constitution (Art. 5 para. 3) protected fundamental right.

Today, art is generally understood as any activity or creation executed by people with a communicative or aesthetic purpose – something that expresses an idea, a feeling or more general a world view. It is part of our culture and mostly reflects economic and social substrates in its design.

The question of whether AI can create real art is quite controversial.

The question of the height of creation in creative design and copyrights must still be clarified with regard to the production of art by machines and algorithms.
