Science is a central building block in human history and everyone can do something with the term in a certain way.
It enables innovation, such as the car and the computer, and more importantly: the cure of various diseases. Since the term “science” has many facets and different interpretations, it is not so easy to find a definition.
If one considers the term “science”, it is basically about the entire spectrum of human knowledge and experiences. The ultimate goal of science is to preserve existing knowledge and systematically gain new insights with the help of research.
The results of the investigations will then be documented and published in scientific papers.
If results from scientific research are to be summarised and published, this is done in so-called scientific work. It is particularly important here that the results are objective and comprehensible to external readers.
This means that all statements and conclusions are to be substantiated and it must be clearly recognised which content comes from other sources and which of the author himself. You can find a detailed explanation in the next chapter. You can then apply this procedure for seminar papers as well as bachelor and master theses.
