Not everyone can just think of something nice for Valentine’s Day, but that doesn’t diminish the intention. So some people could use some ideas to create an unforgettable Valentine’s Day. Still other people think Valentine’s Day is just a lot of commercial hassle and that’s fine too. But for those who do go for it… some ideas.
How do you start?
It starts with the question of whether you want it to be a luxurious gift, nice and cool, sweet, etc. etc. That choice is very personal, but is an extension of the type of person your loved one or potential loved one is. In addition, the available or made available budget is also not unimportant.
That is your starting point and from that point you can start thinking about what it should be. On the one hand, look at the type of person and what his/her preference is and on the other hand, what a surprise aspect can be. That makes Valentine’s Day so much nicer.

But make it a fully catered pampering day , in the form of a completely composed programme. A program that you can go through together. Most complexes have it all, ranging from massages to packs to facial treatments or manicure treatments and ending with a nice dinner. Most centers have an above-average restaurant, otherwise look for a good restaurant nearby. If you stay at an adjacent hotel, there may also be plenty of options there.
It can of course also be done for less time by arranging a sunny day at home for your loved one. Possibly linked to a nice relaxing environment in the woods or by the sea. In any case, include scent and color in what you are going to do.
Movie or theater
For film lovers, you can also make a successful day with a composite day ending with a wonderfully romantic film. Romance in combination with some humor often works for men and women. Dress everything up a bit with a nice glass and snack (or go out for dinner first) and you just have a romantic Valentine’s Day moment. If you want everything in one, look at the extensive theaters. There you can be served a glass and a snack while watching a movie.
Would you rather visit the theater (cabaret or comedy for a good laugh, or a musical for a beautiful musical moment), there are plenty of options. Combine it with a bite to eat afterwards or include a soiree and your evening is complete.
Cool style
You won’t find much cool on Valentine’s Day, but for the man or woman who wants this, a cool weekend with survival in the Ardennes (of course in combination with a nice dinner at home or the restaurant). It goes without saying that they are also cool.
But it can also be a motorcycle ride to a nice remote spot. A place where you have obviously arranged at least a nice overnight stay or you will fly together in the form of a parachute or glider flight. Adjust your transportation to his/her preference, which will make the ride there exciting.
Just a little something
Not a love yet but expecting? Don’t go too big, but subtly send or have something nice delivered. But always together with a beautiful card that has been carefully selected or made yourself, if you are creative.
- Think of a cozy cotton candy device with ingredients in sugary pink.
- Tasty soaps, of course in heart shape and in combination with bath salts in the same color and scent.
- A small bottle of champagne with two glasses and a handwritten label on the bottle (instead of the card).
- ‘Soft’ in the form of nice and warm stockings (with fake fur), a pillow that molds to your body or a nice scarf. Choose a neutral color (off white for example) and package it nicely.

If you don’t want your potential love to know that you are sending him/her something, think carefully about the text of the card. Start generally, but with feeling, and include just one phrase that, with a little thought, can put the person on the right track.
